We opened our presents a day early and no one seemed to mind. With Christmas, Hanukkah and our birthdays all falling right this week, it’s quite the deluge…but it’s also kinda fun to go big and get it all done at once.
Julians highlights were a drone, a remote control car, an Amazon echo and a basketball. Sophia got a bunch of clothes, a UE Boom (Bluetooth speaker) some records and a volleyball. But no doubt her highlight was a well packaged IOU to see Frank Ocean in concert at the Gorge in May. (at Sasquatch!!)
Steph got some wireless Bose headphones since she’s been running and enjoying Spotify so much..a sumptuous white nightie from a high end Seattle lingerie store…and a new fragrance with hints of sea salt and wood sage, by Jo Malone.
My gift was to lay witness…soak it in…and revel in the true spirit of this season…that of being their devoted husband and father.
