I made the select team for basketball and it is very competitive. I had a two games yesterday and we lost one and won one. We also got 2nd place in our tournament. My team is pretty good, we scrimmaged the 7th grade team today in practice and only lost by 3 or 4 points.

I have an interview in Seattle tomorrow with Amazon Web Services and I’m growing increasingly contemplative on what it might mean to work there. The role itself sounds quite juicy and it would afford me a unique opportunity to develop and grow alongside the team. I think if I can come away having instilled a sense of rapport and confidence in my aptitude, I think my chances of progressing are high.

Steph and the kids get home late tonight. Ice in Atlanta delayed their flight by a couple hours so I bet they’ll be exhausted when I finally pick them up off the ferry. As for me, it was a productive day so far. I did yoga this morn. Then cleaned sheets and laundry, did dishes, disposed of xmas tree and vacuumed. Now I’m watching the Seattle Seahawks in the playoffs next door at the Treehouse. My buddy Aquila should be here soon.
